At AdopteeBridge, our staff understands adoption is a lifelong journey. We have over ten years of experience providing post adoption services to Korean adoptees and their families. The following are services AdopteeBridge is able to directly act as the intermediary and provide post adoption services on behalf of adoptees from the following Korean adoption agencies:

  • Eastern Social Welfare Society (ESWS)—formerly known as Eastern Child Welfare Society

  • Korea Welfare Society (KWS)—formerly known as Social Welfare Society (SWS)

  • Holt Children’s Services (Holt)

**If you are an adoptee from Korea Social Services (KSS), we cannot be the intermediary to help with your post adoption services, but will gladly help consult with you with any information or results you receive from KSS.

To requested assistance with Post Adoption Services through AdopteeBridge, please complete a registration form and return it with a registration fee* of $100 to:

Korean File Review

The age minimum for the Korean file review is 13 years old for ESWS, KWS, and Holt.

Birth Parent Search

There is an age minimum (set by individual Korean adoption agencies)

  • 13 years old—ESWS & KWS

  • **Holt Korea permits birth parent searches, but highly recommends an adoptee wait until the age of 19. AdopteeBridge will help initiate a search if the adoptee and adoptive parents would like a search initiated. Please contact us if you would like to discuss this service.

Correspondence with located birth family / Foster family

AdopteeBridge can help facilitate communication via your Korean adoption agency and your foster family/birth family relatives. In addition, AdopteeBridge mails* OR hand delivers packages directly to Korea.

*If mailing, additional postage will be requested.

Translation services

Depending on the length of item, AdopteeBridge can provide translation services free of charge.

If the item is too long, a small fee will be charged to help cover the cost of translation.

Interpretation services (phone/video call)

AdopteeBridge can help interpret phone/video calls with individuals important to adoption beginnings in Korea.

There will be a fee of $50/hour for this service.
